There is oil in my coolant overflow of my 93 Buick regal. The car has not over heated and there is no coolant in the oil when I drained it. Head gasket or could it be something else?

A common problem is the intake gaskets. Have the system pressure tested or look at the front or very rear of the engine and see if there is coolant leaking down. The gaskets for this engine are about $100 in a kit and the labor takes about 4 hours to complete. You will also need to replace the oil, filter, coolant, and if you need instructions, let me know.

My low coolant light flashes on and off then it will stay on.I have checked my coolant level it is good what could be the problem? 1999 Buick regal

Make sure you are checking the coolant level in the radiator as well as in the overflow tank. The sensor is located in the radiator, so if the level in the overflow tank is good, it could still be low in the radiator.

Sounds like you have a blown headgasket, check the coolant in the radiator and if you find oil in it you do need a headgasket.

97 Buick Regal - Fill Coolant Light came on, the tank was drained to the bottom. When I fill up the radiator reserve tank the fluid is coming out of a small, 1/2 inch diameter maybe, black rubber hose...

The heater core inside the passenger compartment is leaking. The water is draining through the Air Conditioner condensor drain tube. Don't plug the drain tube, the passenger side floor will get wet.

First, drain cooling system (or be quick) and disconnect the two heater hoses that are going into the firewall and splice the ends together with a 5/8" garden hose splicer.
The leak will stop, but your heater will not heat the interior.

Replace the heater core....

Why does the radiator fluid in my 1991 buick regal look like chocolate milk?

1-If you open your oil cap and seeing a milky stuff at the inside cap, then there is a leak in head gasket. coolant mixed with oil through head gasket leak then vaporize leaving the milky stuff at your cap. 2-If you don't see it then there is possible transmission get into water. When you are running, the pressure from transmission is higher than coolant pressure so it leaks into your coolant thru transmission cooling coil in the radiator. 3-Need to address this as soon as possible since chance of car not running in the middle of a trip is high also consequences of problems are more costly. Good luck.

Low Coolant light flashing on 1996 Buick Regal 3.8

The low coolant sensor should be located in the passenger side radiator tank, You need to take it out and clean the sludge off of it for it to work right. Or you can just unplug it and forget about it, the light will go out and it won't cause any problems.
