Check engine light is on ( solid ) and not enough power while driving. What could be the problem?

If the check engine light is on then there is a problem in the engine or transmission or a related system. You may be in what is called "LIMP" mode. What needs to be done is have the dealer or a well equipped shop run a fault code test and do the diagnostics associated with the code or codes.

How do i get check engine light out for emmision test

You cannot make the check engine light go off by replacing or removing a fuse. You need to fix the problem that is causing the light to come on. It might be as simple as replacing the gas cap. I would take the car to AutoZone or another auto parts store and have the trouble codes read. The store will usually give you a printout of possible problems associated with the code(s). If you want to spend the money you could buy a code reader and read the codes and then clear the codes which will cause the check engine light to go off for a short time (maybe long enough to get theemission test done if you're lucky!).

2005 toyota camry speed sensor a

After doing a little research (I own a couple of pretty decent scanning tools and have become familiar with how they function)

Without knowing the actual code for the error there is no way of telling exactly what it's showing as the error. The Code is the PXXXX part of the error that the scanner will detect. There are a number of errors that will make the check engine light come on like that, some are as easy as making sure your gas cap is on tight. Others may show the same exact Gas cap code but for a malfunctioning Evap system. So the codes may be interpreted in many different ways, sometimes they will actually mislead you into buying parts that are not needed.
But fist you need to know the exact number of the code and not the name given to it. Then the circumstances when it happens (as you have already stated), Any effects that it might have on your car as far as how is runs or drives since the code has been showing. Also think back to anything that was touched prior to the codes showing, even filling up with gas, checking you oil etc. These will be places to look for a loose wire or possible connection with the time frame of when it all started.

Vehicle Speed Sensor "A" Circuit Low Input
What does this mean? OBD Code P0502refers to
The vehicle speed sensor outputs a 4 pulse signal for every revolution of the rotor shaft, which is rotated by the transmission output shaft via the driven gear. After this signal is converted into a more precise rectangular waveform by the waveform shaping circuit inside the combination meter, it is then transmitted to the ECM. The ECM determines the vehicle speed based on the frequency of these pulse signals.
Symptoms Possible sumptoms of OBD code P0502
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) - Speedometer may not work properly - Transmission shifting problem
Causes Possible causes of OBD code P0502
- Vehicle speed sensor harness or connectors is open or shorted - Vehicle speed sensor - Combination meter - Faulty ECM. The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: The signal sent by the vehicle speed sensor to ECM is too low.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
*You can use this to try to figure out what may be part of the problem but remember that the codes don't always point to the actual problems. They just let you know that while performing a test that test either failed or could not be completed with a good result. There could be numerous other things that can interfere with a test.

Engine won't start

The engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure related problems.

Code P 1753

P1753 is a code for the torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit. The good news is that it is an electrical problem in that circuit, The solenoid itself or the PCM (computer) and not the transmission itself which can be costly. There are a number of tests that need to be done in order to find either the open or shorted wires or the test for the solenoid. Not sure how mechanical you are but I will be happy to give you all the tests that need to be done in order to narrow down either the componant or wire that is causing the problem. You will need a volt/ohm meter and a few hand tools in order to do this. If you think you would be able to do it with step by step instructions, feel free to email me at csautomotivecars@att.net with all of your information. The civic came out with a number of different kinds of 4 cylinder engines such as a hybrid engine and a V-tech for this year so I would need to know what you have in order to get you the correct tests. No there is no cost for the help just if you are able to with your information and I will email it back to you. I hope the information I gave you helped.

Service engine light came on. what needs to be done?

If it is a service light it may be as simple as having some of the basic services performed like an oil change. If it is a check engine light or fault light, you will need to get the vehicle scanned for codes that may have been set. Remember, a fault code is only a place to start looking for a problem, it does not necessarily give you a correct diagnosis of the underlying probem
