Question about 2001 Ford Mustang
OK, on a serpentine belt system there are 2 types of pulleys, grooved and smooth.
The smooth part of the pulley goes against the smooth part of the belt.
And the grooved part of the pulley goes against the grooved part of the belt.
Just thread it in over, under, over under until the last pulley is the tensioner pulley.
Then use the 1/2" breaker bar to get the pulley to allow the belt to slide onto it and you're done.
