Question about 2009 Hyundai Sonata
I own a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. While entering on the NJ Turnpike today, my steering wheel started to feel tight so I pulled into a rest area. By the time I pulled into the rest area, my steering wheel locked up completely whereas I was unable to even turn it to pull into a parking space. Very scary! The station attendant said I lost all my steering fluid. My question is "shouldn't a warning light have come on?" No warning light whatsoever! I would think that even the check engine light should have gone on even if there is not a specific light for the steering wheel fluid. Thank God I wasn't driving in the left lane or passing anyone.
