I have a 1988 suburban and im in the proess of rewiring with wires from an 1985 suburban will this work

You will have a lot of work ahead of you. A 1985 and a 1988 are 2 different designed trucks. The 1985 harness is only compatable up to and including 1987. The 1988 harness would be compatable from 1988 up to I think 1997, 1994 for sure. You could make it work if you had a GM wiring diagram for both vehicles but I think you would be better off looking for a newer harness. Hope this helps.

How to get access to a heater core for a 1985 GMC suburban K2500 350CID

This was the procces on an 86 chev 1/2 ton. Should be the same. Remove glove box. Undo manual controls for duct work. you'll see them there behind where the glove box was on top of the heater core housing. Bemove screws/bolts. Don't remember how many there are. Undo hose clamps in the engine compartment. Remove heater core.

Horse power and torque of a 350 cu/in 1985 chevy suburban motor

I'm not sure of the exact horsepower because of a lot of variable like condition of the engine and age and fuel system and transmission. But if this vehicle as a 350 in it, It will be fine to pull your boat. Even if it was a 305 it would be o.k
