Question about 2006 Pontiac Torrent
Our Pontiac Torrent 3.4 L is coming up with a P0420 code. Which has something to do with Bank one Efficiency... but i think there is only one Cat on that correct? So what are some possible problems?
Also have they fixed the intake gasket leaks that they used to have on the 3.4Ls by 2006?
Did you have done tune up?this is related but is too late catalytic is gone I heard you can put something to gas to burn out, ask in the auto zone.If you put cheap catalytic problem will be the same difference will be less money in the pocket.

SOURCE: Cat efficiency below threshold
the cat is bad, you will need it replaced, be sure there is no other problems that would cause the cat to go bad. IE... rich? misfiring , ect.
