Question about 2002 Ford Escort
Try a new key in it,,,,there is a small chip in the key,,,they can play up, there is also the chip pick up in the lock that can play up,,,
here's a tip,,,if you have two keys,,hold the other key close under the lock before you try to start up,,,the chip reader may read that one first and switch off the alarm so the car will start up
