Yours is a new car, so AC should be working correctly. Still you can get it checked at an authorized service outlet. Is cooling sufficient in the summer months? Does AC cut off from time to time, at least when the temperature setting is kept high? If answer is negative to either of these, then get the AC checked.

Also if there is a substantial drop in pickup when AC comes on, get AC checked. According Hyundai manual says that AC should be used at least once a week to keep it functioning correctly. I hope you did that in the winter months.

If AC is working fine, then I suggest that you always keep the air under 100% recirculation (avoid fresh air mode). Secondly keep the AC setting to as high a temperature as is comfortable, and keep blower at minimum speed after the initial cooling is over.

What is your review of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross?

  • Pros: Best value for money in its segment, spacious , excellent leg room for rear seats, reasonably well ground clearance, good mileage, interiors and features one of the best in class, superior build quality, Cheaper by around 2 L when compared to creta or duster...
  • Cons: Initial pick up less in city.
2017 Maruti S-cross is very good SUV or properly a crossover, black interiors looks excellent, in city feels little lethargic below 1500 rpm but on highway its fun to drive , can easily reach 140 kmph, mileage expect around 14 to15 kmpl in city and around 17 to18 kmpl , suspension bit hard probably for better highway ride, overall good car better than sedans like city or ciaz as you get feel of SUV with good ground clearance to tackle various Indian road conditons and high sitting position is awesome to drive

One more question sir.my etios petrol car mileage is very low .city only 8to 9 with ac.non ac in city 10 maximum..what can do for better mileage.thanx

Have you had the vehicle service according to the manufacturers schedule. Not doing the services on time will cause poor mileage. Also do you drive aggressively or gently as that makes a big difference.

I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra, I used to get 20 city 29 highway. Now I get like 15 to 17 mpg. Can anyone help me get better gas mileage

A repair shop can
No way to guess at what you have or haven't
done, as far a preventative maintenance goes
I will say this,IF you just drive any car & never go
to a shop or educate yourself or spend time at a shop
& ask the right questions, then you will have issues
To notice a mileage drop you have to have things that
either need attention or you have an unfixable mechanical
problem.

Hello sir i purchased a hyundai car verna in oct2009 from raghu hyundai BHIWANI-HR-16H-7070.Now i am not able to run it due to a part ECM.Agency told me that your car is in warranty so they can give me...

you should take the repaired. chances are they won't give you a new one and the repaired one will most likely also be under warranty as well. Repaired is normally very close to as good as new. Keep trying to get a new one, but if they won't give you one then the used one will probly do just as well:)

Poor Fuel Mileage 2006 Hyundai Sonata 2.4 motor

I don't know from where you bought the car but do you feel certain that typical causes such as fouled plugs or clogged air filters are not at fault?
Most dealers, even the shlocks don't normally skimp on the simple stuff but who knows about a private source?
That does seem low, especially the city numbers. I don't think Hyundai is any leader in gas mileage but they are better than what you are getting.
