I had a similar problem . I went to the blower motor under the hood and cleaned the connector plug. the blower motor amazingly started to run, of course I had the switch on first so i could tell if it went on.

Is it normal for both fan or fans to go out at 60, 000 miles?

it is rare for both fans to quit at the same time. check the relay and fan temperature sensor switch or have the fans check. If the temperature sensor switch is faulty therefore it will not activate the fans to cool the engine down.

BWM heater problems--display and switches working but no fan

your fan speed regulator located on your heater core box is bad if its just one or some of the speeds. if the fan does not work at all its either a bad connection to your fan speed regulator or the fan motor has quit. out

Heat ac fan quit blowing fuses ok what next?

Hi. You will need to acquire a volt meter, and test the blower motor for proper voltage(12v). If the motor is registering a 12 volt current(at contacts with the switch activated), simply replace the fan motor. If not, replace the fan relay, or resistor switch.

Defrost fan quit working.

Check it with a test light or Multimeter for power to blower motor first, with switch on high. If no power to motor, problem is elsewhere. Here's a link that will help you. Click on the pictures to expand.

Subaru Loyale 1994 Heating fan quit working

one of two solutions:

The contacts on your fan switch are bad, or you striped the knob and it won't turn the switch on, or the big bad one...your fan motor has decided it needs a vacation.

Hope this helps you, and I hope it's just the knob is stripped..it's the lesor of two evils
