There is a short vacuum hose located behind the passenger side headlight assembly. Chances are it is cracked (mine was). Replace this and your troubles should go away!

There is a vacumn resevoir somewhere on the car under the bonnet and this has a hole in it so the resevoir isnt hold the vacumn long enough to keep the vents open.Know this because i had the same problem with a GM astro van ,it was missing and spares here in spain are ?' difficult to find without a long drive so took a vacumn tank off an old merc from the scrappers and that cured it

What is wrong when my windstar's a/c blows through floor vents when accelerating?

Sounds like a vacuum circuit problem. Check the vacuum reservoir, and the vacuum lines running from it under the dash. Could be a leak at the control head. There may be a check valve in the supply line that has gone bad.

When I excelerate my ventilation panel inside the cab starts blowing air out of the floor vent instead of blowing out of the front panel.

there is a vacuum can under the hood and if that is not hooked up or has a leak there is no vacuum reserve for the vent control valves so they go bad to a fail safe position

Air blowing out floor and defrost vents but not not front vents

Sounds like a blend door problem. The vacuum from the engine opens and closes the door that directs air flow thru the vents.
I would guess the door is stuck in the middle of the range or something is blocking it.
The blend door(s) is behind the glove box.

Ac vacuum

There could be a vac tank problem or a vac leak.
Most american vehicles use a plastic ball or object as a vac holding tank. The tank or a vac hose can be leaking.
If the system fails, the default position is the defrosters for safety.

A\c blows cold but only blows out defrost and floor wont blow out vents whats the problem

Sounds like you are having trouble with the environmental station actuators, either you have a vacuum leak, line disconnected, or bad vacuum control switch, or a bad vacuum actuator. I had this problem in my truck, I found the actuator next to the accelerator down by the floor disconnected, I hooked it up and all is well. Hope this helps, let me know.

Air stops blowing through the vents when accelerating

u have a loss of vacuum to the ac mode control switch, this switch applies vacuum to diff vacuum motors to move air to diff outlets, dash, floor, defrost etc. either the vacuum line or vacuum resivior at the engine is leaking or the mode control is leaking vacuum.

Dash vents will not blow air. Defroster and floor vents blow fine.

Is it a new vehicle? I had a new vehicle that had the same problem. Answer was that the holes weren't punched out of the vent.
