That all depends, the 3.0 liter is inside the engine oil pan, the 3.8 liter is on the outside above the oil filter in the front of the engine on the drivers side

Would like to know where oil pump is located on Ford Taurus-2002 engine?

The oil pump is located inside the oil pan. It's an internal componet of the engine. It requires removal of the oil pan to gain access to it.

No oil presure

If its an internal oil pump the cam will run it. Are you sure its the pump or is it the sending unit, is the engine making noise like there is no oil pressure, like lifter noise, rocker noise, knocking? Pumps do go bad, they have gears in them, a gear could have worn down or broke, or maybe a seal blew out, and it won't hold pressure. whatever, if its bad it will have to be chg.
