If the sound comes and goes while your starting and stoping driving it is a wheel bearing,
If you want to do this your self i can explain how to replace it,
you will need some tools/metric
a jack and jack stand
wheel bearing is about 75.00 and labor is about 1.5 hours if experienced and about 3 hours if not experienced
Thanks

I have bad roaring in front left side while driving,

Sounds like a wheel bearing or a bad CV shaft or u joint in the front end drive shafts, if it is 4 wheel drive. it also could be a break pad rubbing cause the caliper is stuck pressed in.

After having cv joints replaced on my 99 mazda 626 there's a loud roaring while driving. What is the cause of the roaring?

The noise you are describing may very well a bad wheel bearing, the wheel bearings are sealed units and they last about 100,000 miles on average, the fronts go 1st because they carry the heaviest load.

What would cause a loud roaring in the back seat of my 2001 Monte Carlo as I am driving?

That roaring noise should be a wheel bearing. Jack up the rear wheels and spin the tires by hand. You can hear a grinding noise if the noise inside the car is as load as you state.. The only other noise that will be like that is the differental gears inside the drive axle

Between 0 and 20 mph there is a very loud grinding noise. there is also play in the steering at high speed, and when i go over bumps my front end feels loose. what could it be?

if growl is faster or slower with speed & changes with speed & turns its a wheel bearing also frt struts may bee weak check other frt end tie rods balls joints c-arm bushing all known to go bad

Growling noise in frt end. only does it as speed is increased. not tranny.cv joints ok. rotated tires frt to back. no change

Most likely a wheel bearing issue....if noise goes away when turning....most likely is the bearing....which side is bad is difficult to decide, and they can be pricey...they are bolt in..so not a lot of labor ...good luck...Lee
