Question about 2006 Dodge Ram 2500
If all electrical seems to be ok, but there is no engine turn over . I know exactly what it is. behind your fuse panel you will find a solinoid attached to the fender. Remove it and replace and your problem will be solved. Same thing happened to me. Thought it was the shifter or something, until I found the switch behind the fuse panel and replaced it. Problem fixed!!

Check spark plugs, might be missing an arc connection.
