Could be the low pressure switch on the dryer canister. Try crossing the plug out and see if it kicks on.

Contact your local transmission shop and see if this is a common issue. Most good shops will tell you. Also check with the local dealership parts department and see if there is a recall. Strange issue,.

1998 Chevrolet C3500 dies randomly when driving down the road - uphill, downhill or flat surfaces. Typically doesn't happen when it's cold. Sometimes it starts back up and sometimes it doesn't....

U have an intermittent electrical connection causing the hassle. Check and clean all wiring junctions, etc. Also work the connections by sliding them in and out many times to remove any oxidation. U have to remember that a car's electrical system is low voltage and the slightest bit of corrosion can screw things up - example is dirty battery terminal wires with a new battery. Car will not crank but clean the terminals and away you go!!!!!!!!!!!!

How to replcae distributor cap and rotor on 1998 K3500 7.4L v8?

There are two screws to hold the cap on, remove them, and pull the cap off with the wires still on it. Then you will see the rotor on the post under the cap, this pull straight up and off. The new one slides right down in place. Then take one plug wire off at a time and put it on the same position on the new cap.

Doesn't really matter where number one wire goes as long as the firing order is in the correct order. I find it easier just to pull and put one plug wire on at a time.

How to remove front rotors from a 1998 K3500 Silverado?

You have a 3 or 4 15mm bolts in the back of the hub. They are torqued very high and extremely difficult to remove. They are also easily rounded off. You need a snap on 1/2" drive inpact wobble 15mm socket and leave steering wheel unlocked so you can rotate wheel to get 2 of them at a time.

The removal of rear brake drums on a 1998 chevy k3500

You should be able to just pull them off! If they are stuck on you may have to get them off by beating on them with a small sledge hammer. Sounds primitive, but thats how its done at the shop. Just hit it straight on the front to break the rust loose. Whatever you do...don't hit the wheel studs. They aren't fun to replace.
