Question about 2008 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

2 Answers

If I can buy a car today for $5,000 and it is worth $10,000 in extra income next year to me because it enables me to get a job as a traveling anvil seller, should I take out a loan from Larry the Loan Shark at a 90% interest rate if no one else will give me a loan? Will I be better or worse off as a result of taking out this loan? Can you make a case for legalizing loan sharking?

anything can be replaced. the only question is. is it worth spending the money to do it? thats for you to decide. make some calls and get some quotes for the job. then decide if its worth spending it on your current car (taking into account its current condition. and anything else you might have to do to it the next few years) or using it to buy a newer one

Toyota " Maint Req'd " Light Reset Procedure

I get many calls a week for this procedure...
This is really easy! Follow these directions:

Turn the key ON

Look at the odometer, and verify that it displays "ODO" and the total mileage traveled. If it is on "Trip A" or "Trip B", press the black stick next to the odometer to read "ODO", and the total miles traveled.

Turn the key OFF.

Press in, and HOLD the black trip meter reset button, hold it in.
DO not release it.

Turn the key ON (do not turn the key to Start)

Observe the Odometer display. The total mileage traveled will disappear, and you will see 5 dashes, then 4, then 3, then 2, then 1 dash, and finally, 5 zeros. Then, the total mileage traveled will redisplay.

Release the black trip meter reset stick.

This completes the reset procedure, and it will be back on in 5,000 miles, to remind you of you next oil change
.
NOTE: Newer cars have a slightly different procedure. The reset starts on the "TRIP A" setting, as opposed to the ODO setting. Depending on the year of your car, one or the other will work.

Hope this helps!
If this does help you, a 4-thumbs rating, or a 'VERY HELPFUL' rating would be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking of buying a 2002 2500HD duramax 4x4.

good trucks, but they've been known to give trouble.( injector pumps, fuel filter housings, etc.) the injector pump alone runs around $1500.00, without labor. fuel pump housing,$150.00,and so on. and pray the turbo doesn't go out! my sugestion? buy a gas rig with a 350 that has maintainence records and about 125.000 to 150.000 miles. it will last you a good long time.

We have been traveling for 7 hours today in our 2001 Ford Taurus. We had no problems; car did not run hot, got great gas mileage. We made it to our hotel and not the car will not start. It will crank but...

Sounds like the battery is old and got hot from all of the use and charging that was put on it. Next time you drive the car a bit, check the battery with your hand. Be careful it may be really hot. If it is too hot to touch, replace it.

Not a booster problem. what bad noises? abs problmes wont make noises, unless its the pump operating. ck the mushy pedal, that will maybe fix all problems. I dont think its related to the 2/4wd lights?

Fuel pumps i buy keep going out quick!

Make sure you replace fuel filter on truck and try buying something made in the USA I know it's hard to find but the few extra dollars will be worth it. Cause I replace the fuel pump in my truck 3 times in one year cause the junk made in china couldn't do the job. Since replacing with one made in the USA I haven't any problems for the last 2 years.
