I want to locate the relay acces - 1997 GMC Sonoma

Instrument Panel Relay block has a ACC Relay and an ACC CUT Relay.
ACC Relay is for ACC Fuse and CIG Fuse.
ACC CUT Relay is for the Ignition Switch.

Not a fuse problem .
Voltage is applied to the left front window switch through the PWR WINDOWS PWR SUNROOF circuit breaker and to circuit 143
Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Circuit Description
The Body Control Module (BCM) controls the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) feature. The RAP feature allows for the operation of the following components for 10 minutes (or until a vehicle door opens) after the ignition switch turns from the RUN or ACC to the LOCK position:
• The radio
• The power windows
• The power sunroof (if equipped)
The BCM interfaces with the vehicle's power distribution through the RAP relay. The RAP relay allows the BCM to control the application of power to circuit 75. Circuit 75 provides power to the following circuits:
• Circuit 43 -- Radio
• Circuit 143 -- Power windows, and the power sunroof, if equipped
When the ignition switch is in either of the following positions, the BCM energizes the RAP relay by grounding circuit 707:
• ACC
• RUN
The BCM turns OFF the RAP relay when the ignition switch is in the START position. This action disables the RAP feature during the engine crank and bulb test.
When the ignition switch turns from the RUN or ACC position to the LOCK position with all of the vehicle doors closed, the BCM leaves the RAP relay energized for 10 minutes, or until any vehicle door opens. (The BCM detects a ground signal in circuit 49 or circuit 727).
The BCM resets the RAP timer when the ignition switch turns from the LOCK or OFF position to the ACC or RUN position.


I would check the RAP relay . Accessory Time Delay (RAP) Relay
Behind the IP compartment, attached to the underside of cross-car beam.

Mounted in the left-hand rear comer of the engine compartment,

the power distribution box contains 46 (uses and 15 relay
positions. For the rest, the actuall relay location in the box, email me and I will send you the BMW shop manual ( actuall BMW and not aftermarket ) which will have a diagram of the fuel pump relay location. When you recieve the manual, look to section 610 - electrical component locations. [email protected]

acc relay more than likely-

The Aux. Relay Box #4 is located in the rear driver side removable panel with the jack. The box holds the Door lock and unlock relays; The driver's door lock/unlock relay and the ACC. Lights relay.

Aux Relay Box #4 is in the rear driver's side removable panel with the tire jack. This Relay box holds the Door Lock / Unlock relays (ice cube type). It also holds the Driver Door Unlock Relay and the ACC Lights Relay (rectangular relays).

Change out your ACC Relay. It is located on drivers side behind kick panel in fuse box. It is Black and rectangular shaped. Check for moisture. Many times water comes off driver door Chanel right into fuse box. Open driver door look for holes in front panel. ACC Relay is under 10 bucks at auto parts store.
