First find the ac pump it will be on the front part of the motor up top, follow the belt around till you find a pump with 2 amuminum lines comming out of it, follow the lines and u will see a cap or a fitting if its a cap remove cap to expose the fitting, there is a fitting on each line u only use one (the low side) usally the line that goes towards the radaitor, once u find the fitting start you truck turn on the a/c to max hook up the bottle of r-135a to the fitting and turn the knob on top of the bottle all the was till it cracks the seal you will know it cracked the seal when u hear it and the bottle will start getting cold, let it fill the system but keep a eye on the gage and keep it in the green, once filled turn valve off remove and repplace cap and u are done. hope this helps

You have to locate the low pressure line and connect to that. There is a coupler on the low pressure line. It usually has a black or light blue cover cap on it and unscrews. The low pressure line is the larger of the two lines you'll be looking at. The connector on your refill kit will only fit the low pressure line so that takes some of the danger out of the problem as long as you watch the gauge that is attached and don't over charge the system. Most likely these lines will be on the left side of the motor as you face it.

Just visit a local garage and they will recaharge it for you. Gor safety reasons this is a job that should only be carried out by a competent mechanic as messing around with the refrigerant is dangerous... it can blind you
It should bot be very costly for a recharge

Mazda6 ac recharge valves

the correct one should be smaller, and your recharge hose should be only able to connect to it. the smaller fitting is the low side, and the larger fitting is the high side. recharge only to the low side. the high side is used by technicians with elaborate ac manifold guages to monitor success. these guage kits can be bought at harbor freight for about 55 dollars, and give a better recharge,as you can regulate pressure as not to overfill, which lessens the cooling

Warning light says Low Refrigerent-AC/Off. I tried to recharge the system but the Compressor won't engage, How do I get the Compressor to come on so as I can recharge the system. Is it a pressure swithch...

in order to recharge the ac you first must clear the trouble code for the ac off warning. when you get this warning the computer shuts down the compressor to keep it from running without the lubricant that is in the freon. clear the trouble code and the compressor will run and you can recharge the ac.
