Question about 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee

THIS PROBLEM IS CAUSED BY THE STARTER SOLENOID, THE TYPE OF STARTER USED IN YOUR TRUCK IS A DENSO DESIGN LIGHT WEIGHT STARTER USED IN ALL CARS AND TRUCKS NO MATTER THE MAKE SINCE THE LATE 80'S EARLY 90'S, THE CONTACTS THAT CONNECT THE STARTER WHEN THE SOLENOID PULLS BACK ARE BURNT AND ARE NOT MAKING A CONNECTION THAT IS CLICK YOU HEAR, U CAN EITHER REPLACE THE WHOLE STARTER OR JUST THE CONTACTS, IF THE TRUCK HAS HIGH MILES I SUGGEST YOU REPLACE THE STARTER ASSEMBLY, YOU CAN BUY BOTH THE STARTER AND THE REPLACEMENT CONTACTS FOR THE SOLENOID FROM EBAY MOTORS AT A GREATLY REDUCED PRIVE OVER LOCAL PARTS STORES IF U CAN WAIT.
