Check the instrument panel dimmer switch. There should be a control to make your instrument panel lights brighter or dimmer. If it's turned all the way to one side the interior lights come on and stay on. Also check all of your door switches to make sure none are grounded. When the door switch grounds the light comes on.

My windows are working and the lights inside stay on

Check for a broken black ground wire or a orange/grey wire in the rubber boot that goes from the drivers door to the hinge pillar. Had this problem on mine and found both wires broken from years of flexing when door opened and closed. Make sure and check both the drivers and the passengers front doors. It is an easy fix that a shop will charge you at least $300 to fix.

Check all doors for a sticking door open sense switch. Check all over-riding interior light activation switches are off. If all the above are ok, check for a sticking interior light relay.

Interior light stay on

Sounds like the switch has shorted out inside. The only fix for this is a new switch. But first look at the wiring on the back of the switch to make sure they are not crossed and causing the light to stay on. Good luck.

Waning lights

You have a courtesy light switch that is malfunctioning, it can be in any of the four doors or the rear hatch, the only way to pinpoint it is to have the dealer hook it up to a scan toot and they can pin point the bad switch that is causing the lights to stay on. The switches are very cheap they are attached to the door latch on the inside of the door.
