If you check all fuses, and they are OK, check the harnesses conections to anf from the radio. If the display turn on, just check your notes and enter the code, if the display and other components wont work, its possible that your radio has an internal wrong.

If the problem is internal you need take of the radio to check it.

I need free radio code for my 1997 exl v6 accord

Radio code cannot obtain from Internet, this is unique code for each vehicle and device. You'll need to visit your dealer and (with the VIN) ask about this code.

Good luck.

My 1997 honda accord radio screen is blank only the red power button is on and the clock above radio is dim and resets itself everytime i start the car, i check the fuse box inside the car and all fuses...

If it's fuse 36, it should have a 15 amp fuse.
Do not confuse this fuse with the radio backup fuse, which is 7.5 amps but runs a lot of other circuits.
Put in a 15 amp fuse.
If it burns, the lighter may have a short.

Power outlet does not work. radio/cigarette

check and make sure theres no corrosion and if possible check to make sure its plugged in .. the connector is directly behind the outlet so removal of the panel will be necessary.. if thats good the i would check for voltage at the connector if there is( which it probably will have voltage) than replace the outlet..

96 honda accord d4 doesn,t lite up

The actual D-light really has nothing to do with vehicle getting stuck in gear or vehicle shifting. The light may be out because the bulb is BAD. As for vehicle getting stuck in DRIVE that a transmission issue may be a malfunction, have to become more pronounced for me to determine what it is, However is a 1996 vehicle and it has an OD11 hook-up I suggest you take it to an AUTO-ZONE and they will put in on a scanner for FREE and you can get back to me with codes. Good Luck and thanks for using FIX YA

check the remote wire. if this does not work try cleaning the wiring harness but make sure that the battery is disconnected. if that doesnt work try to trace the wires back to where they start an check for a break in the wire. an have you checked all the fuses under the hood an in the fuse pannel?
