You can put it in the recovery tank (white plastic most of the time, sometimes black), maybe 1/2 gallon at a time 50/50 antifreeze to water mixture.

Run the car, and watch the temperature gauge.

Sometimes, if the radiator is cool, you can undo the cap by pushing down and twisting counterclockwise and add directly to the radiator.

What kind of antifreeze coolant do I use? Is premixed ok? Do I put water in with the antifreeze?

Depending on where you drive and what temperatures the car is driven in will determine the concentration of antifreeze to water. As a general rule premix, which is 50/50, is fine for most application. Different concentrations will change the freezing and boiling points of the antifreeze mixture, as well as, change the ability of the mixture giving off heat. A typical 50/50 mixture has a freezing point of about -35*F and boiling point of about 265*F.

I just flushed my radiator and bought two gallons of antifreeze. I have a 1998 GMC Sierra 2500 4X4 454 7.4 L. How and how much antifreeze/water do i put it. I have no owners manuel.

the final ratio is half water and half antifreeze, since the engine will have water left after the flush add antifreeze first thenwater and check it with a hydrometer or tester

When I put water in the radiator of my Honda Civic 1998 it can drive, and the engine stay cool. But when I stop the car the water come out from under the engine. Did anybody have an explanation about it?

You still have to use 50/50. Engine can run up to 235 degrees normally and water boils at 212. Antifreeze mix boils at 280 degrees. So it works as coolant too. Anyway, you are mixing thats good. Can you tell where the antifreeze is coming from when you shut it off?

Antifreeze

the color of the antifreeze will have zero effect on the problem you are having.  I suspect the replacement engine has a leaking manifold gasket or a blown head gasket.  Why would you buy an engine with that many miles on it?
