Real good chance if nothing else replace the filter for maintenance sake every 30,000 miles and while you have it out bang it out on a clean white rag to test for dirt particles/drain into a clean jar to test for water as well, if it is detected you may need to drain the tank, flush the injectors and flush the fuel lines.

Poor Acceleration on my Hyunda

replace your fuel filters and if it starts to stutter when you start to accelerate from a dead stop. the filter inside your tank needs to be replaced. some say not to run your tank low because that will cause the filter to clog, this is just not true. where you buy your fuel and how clean it is is what clogs the tank fuel filter. dont run is real low because you could damage yoour fuel injectors if draw air though them.

2000 lincoln 4.6 stutters under load at some speeds

  1. Clogged fuel filter; or
  2. Bad fuel pressure regulator; or
  3. Clogged fuel pickup strainer in gas tank ("fuel sock"); or
  4. Water or other contaminant in fuel (replace all fuel with new).

Stuttering in idele and acceleration

Has the fuel tank been low lately? How cold where you are? Add 2 bottles of fuel "Heat" to the gas tank, and be sure to fill up...and keep fuel level above 1/4. Hope this helps.

2002 Dodge Neon starts hard in the morning and if it sits a while. when accelerating it stutters.

When was last healthy tune up? Plugs, plug wires, all filters including FUEL filter. I would start there tune up and all filters, that way you have a good "ground zero" reliability point.

1999 Isuzu Trooper Stalls and stutters during acceleration

It could be that you have picked up a batch of dirty fuel that has clogged the gauze input filter that is part ot the fuel pump inside the fuel tank.

Car would stutter when accelerating but not during a constant speed, 1mph light came on then the check engine light

you are having fuel delivery issues, assuming the fuel pump is working fine, check your fuel filters (usually one in line and one in the tank). chances are one of these are clogged.

The fuel pump is on top of gas tank inside, you have to lower the tank, unless is mounted on gas tank side, follow fuel lines, thy are two, one main and one return, the fuel filter is on the main under driver
