No there's not enough room, engine will have to come out, due to subframe very close to oil pan.

How do you change the oil pump in a 1995 chevy lumina 3100

You must remove the oil pan. I do not think you can do this with the engine in the car. If you can remvove the pan from the bottom without engine removal, it would be easy. Most every engine has to be removed to fully remove the oilpan. So my solution is- remove engine, remove oilpan, remove pump, replace pump, pan, and engine.

Directions for changing the oil pump

THE OIL PUMP IS LOCATED INSIDE THE OILPAN ON THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE! YOU'LL HAVE TO DRAIN THE OIL, AND REMOVE THE OILPAN! ON SOME VEHICLES, YOU HAVE TO UNBOLT THE ENGINE MOUNTS, AND RAISE THE ENGINE ENOUGH TO REMOVE THE OIL PAN, SO YOU CAN GET INSIDE

How do i find the freeze out plugs on a 1990 s-10chevy blazer

You are looking for a round hole in your engine casting that is filled with a plug. Most of them, and there are several, will be about 11/2 inches round and set into the block about 1/4 inch. There should be 3 down each side of the block midway between the head and the oilpan. There are 1 each at each end of the heads and 1 at the back of the cam and a couple under the timing chain cover and a couple behind the engine under the bell housing. I'm probably mssing some.
If you are looking to put it a block heater, usually the middle one on the driver's side is the easiest or the middle one on the passenger side. The middle one is best as the heat gets distributed a little more evenly.
If you need to change one that is leaking, measure carefully before you knock it out to be sure you get the right one to put back in. They are various sizes in 1/8 or even 1/16 increments.
Hope this helps.

Bad oil leak not the valv pan or oilpan or sensor

It may be the rear engine seal where the tranny shaft sticks into the engine. I am assuming it is a standard shift of course. Please be kind with the thumbs up rating. I am only guessing and can't see the leak area. Thanks, Raz

Oilpan replacement

Is it 4WD? if so, I believe your truck may unfortunately be of the vintage where in order to replace the oil pan you need to either remove the engine or front end. If the oil leak in the pan isn't horrible, you may be better off to invest in a quality steel epoxy. Drain the oil, dry it with brakleen real well and goop it up with epoxy.
