Hi,

Unbolt the ashtray and find the screws that hold it secure to the dash frame. Screwdriver socket remove 4 bolts and slide it out the front to unhook the rear plugs and antenna to get it completely out. Took me about 5 minutes on my 1994 Town Car. No special tool other than a socket to remove the radio. rek('_tx7');

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Radio fuse location 2006 incoln towncar

Some makes and models, if battery voltage is lost, the radio may go into theft lock? If that is the case, your local dealership may have to fix? Look at your owners manual, see if it says anything about radio theft lock?
The wiring info I looked at was for radio w/o navigation, note the fuses.

I have a 1995 lincoln towncar and the radio comes on but I no longer have sound, please help, what's wrong with it?

I think I already answered this... but there is an amplifier behind the back seat in the trunk area, and there is a fuse on it. Start by replacing that fuse.

Air blend door? Location? My 93 Towncar won't heat. The core and all have good heat, but not thru the vents.

Its behind the dashboard and should be around the middle of the dash,

Make sure the pipes are very hot to touch and not warm, If there just warm your thermostat possibly gone or the the heater core it self may be dead

I am trying to remove the door hinges on how to remove the door and hinges on a 1993 Lincoln Towncar. I have removed all of the bolts except for the flat faced one, how do I remove this?

wow, you have a major problem here, I hope you have tried to remove anything yet.
there is one bolt at the upper door hinge that only can be removed by removing the complete dash off.
I would call your local body shop for help on this.
