I have check engine code P1354 variable valve timing system bank 2 for my 2000 Lexus RX300. Where is this located?

YES, you have to investigate what is throwing your valve timing off. That could be anything from a vacuum leak to clogged injectors, bad plugs, sensor ect. Have the car analyzed to find the cause. There can be many causes. Good luck

What does code system to lean bank 1 mean on my 2000 lexus rx300

It could be caused by many things, but generally it means that your engine is running too lean - usually indicating a vacuum leak. It could also be that the O2 sensor is bad and giving a false reading.

Have a 2000 Lexus RX300. Engine light came on. I checked the codes. Came up with P0171 and P0420. I read that P0420 is the oxygen sensor. It has been sluggish on acceleration. I am taking a long...

The oxygen sensor being bad probably would not hurt the car , but It sends its signal to the computer to help manage fuel mixture. Computers can be unforgiving , and I would hate for you to break down far from home. Oxygen sensors are not as expensive as they used to be , I would have it (them) replaced. Don't get riped off , ask a couple of different mechanics for a quote. Dealerships will for sure be the most expensive.

Lexus rx300 2002 hard shift between 1st and 2nd. Fluid and filter changed 3000mi ago, car has 93000mi

The 1999-2003 Lexus RX300 models have a common failure of the engine computer that causes the harsh shifting of the transmission. You need to get the computer (ECM - Engine Control Module) rebuilt or replaced before it causes permanent damage to the transmission. Even if the transmission is already ruined, the ECM will still need to be repaired. Most often, the transmission is fine though, and rebuilding the ECM will restore the smooth shifts that the Lexus should have. Circuit Board Medics can rebuild the ECM and reprogram it so that you only have to plug it back in when you get it back. See the link below:

2000 lexus rx300 has check engin light with codes of 1130 and 1150. what is the problem?

Both codes indicated a failure in the outputs of your air fuel ratio sensors. Because of the fact that both sensors are reporting incorrectly, I would suggest checking your AF relay underhood for failure, or your ground wire on the back of the intake manifold for connection.

Often when these cars have spark plugs changed or valve cover gaskets changed, the ground wire on the back of the intake (which must be removed to perform the mentioned jobs) gets left dangling. With this ground wire not attached, both A/F sensors will report 0voltage, resulting in the two codes you received.

99 RX300 Engine code keeps coming up lean

Check for vacuum leaks. ie, vacuum lines them selves, the rubber tube that runs from the air filter to the throttle body. If it has a plastic intake manifold, possibly the rubber port seal gaskets between it and the engine. Lean codes are set when the PCM isn't monitoring all the air coming into the engine (vac leak) or low fuel pressure.
