Question about 1988 Ford F 150
I have a 1988 Ford Truck F150. The truck has front and rear gas tanks. When I use the switch in the cab to change from the front to the rear trank, fuel continues to be drawn from the front tank. Any ideas on how to fix?
With truck off and key on, you should be able to hear the solenoid under the truck switch from one to the other tank, if you don't hear it, check for voltage at switch, if you have voltage there, have some one work the switch while your under the truck to check voltage there at the gas tank solenoid, also tap on it, while working the switch, could be stuck, if you have voltage, but don't switch, solenoid will have to be replace.
