My s-10 truck, 99 model,2,2L; wont start due to a dash board sign of security activated, the motor cranks but wont start at all, can you help me, checked injectors OK, Checked battery OK, evrything seems...

i had the same problem on my 98 sonoma. for some reason your passlock system did not recognise your key and went into security. you have to take it to a dealer or a shop with a computer and have them reset your passlock. if you have a buddy or know someone with a scan tool they may be able to do it to. i think the shop here charged $35. but there is no other way to fix it.
