Oil filter helps to keep engine oil clean and reduces wear, but would not make it pull forward any faster.

I have a gti golf problem is loss of power when pulling away then it will go ok when you put your foot down ive changed fuel filter x air flow meter it goes better but its still not right

Could be several things, weak fuel pump (failing), , or fuel pressure regulator ,Often, the engine will stall out during a fast accelerating, or suddenly jump and accelerate more quickly than you intended. It also might take more effort than usual to get your car to accelerate, and when it does, the acceleration will happen much more slowly than normally. if you have bad plugs or wires. good-day!

Misfiring on bank 1 3 and 5

misfiring is also from injectors and low fuel pressure. To be all on the same side I suspect injector wiring ( possible loose connection on the ECM). Have a compression test done to delete mechanical problems (valves)

2000 Nissan Pathfinder Rough Idle, Hesitating on Acceleration, Misfiring/Backfiring

Ok P0325 Knock sensor (Bank 1) There is a way to test the resistance, but I dont know the specific Ohms for your vehicle.
P0400 EGR Flow This means that there is a buildup of carbon and other things in all the passages that go to the EGR. Clean them out before looking at the knock sensor. Bad misfires can cause the knock sensor to go out of range. EricTheCarGuy has some excellent videos (youtube) explaining how to go about this.

Why is my 1983 datsun / nissan pulling back while i'm cursing?

unless you invertently disconnected a vacum hose or electronics while changing the oil & filter - or - unless you over filled the oil in the crankcase, changing the oil & filter would have nothing to do with your issue... I'm also assuming you meant cruising (not cursing) LOL,. which Could indicate you have a disconnected, broke or popped a hole into a vacum line (which typically controls the cruise control). Some of the vehilces do use electronics to operate the cruise control, so be sure to identify for yourself which operating system you have...

Bought 6 weeks ago, supposedly engine rebuilt as. 2 days ago began to clatter like a can of nuts & bolts. Best guess so far: thrown rod. Likely cost? Pro mechanic rebuilt his sis' car. Seemed up...

DID YOU KEEP EYE ON OIL LEVEL.REBUILD ENGINE WILL USE UNTIL RINGS BREAK IN. YOU NEED TO DO A OIL AND FILTER CHANGE AFTER 500 MILES. YOU NEED TO DRIVE ENGINE ACCELERATE LIGHTLY AVOID FAST QUICK ACCELERATION IF YOU DROVE ENGINE HARD DURING BREAKIN PROCECC THE CLATTERING NOISE COULD BE BROKE PISTON RINGS.CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL AND COOLANT SYSTEM MAKE SURE ENGINE NOT OVERHEATING OR IGNITION TIMING OFF.LET PRO MECHANIC CHECK IT OUT.

Car feels like it's bogging down during acceleration, also sort of stutters starting at 45 mph and progressively gets worse above that. I had the radiator, timing belt, and water pump replaced last week....

try replacing your fuel filter, With big temperature swings this time of year, condensation (water) forms in fuel tank, Prior to changing fuel filter run a bottle of STP gas treatment or a good injector cleaner through it.

Misses during acceleration , rough acceleration, service engine soon light on, power loss, still runs fair, 2000 ford expedition

Go get the codes ran at auto zone or advance auto parts they will do it for free. If the codes come up as a cylinder miss-fire then it is most likely a coil (being a ford). Write down which cylinder it is. I wouldn't replace any of the spark plugs , useless you have more than 100,000 miles. If you have to replace the spark plugs use BOSH double plautim or better. The cylinder placing is ( as your are looking at the front of the truck) passenger side front to back 1-2-3-4 driving side front to back 5-6-7-8. If you never seen a coil buy one so you know what you are looking for. The coil is held in by a 7mm bolt. Take the bolt out and replace the coil. Problem Solved. Estimated time 20 Mins with 60 dollars per coil.
