Hi..
this is because of the
1.sensor problem
2. the wire connecting the speedometer
3.the speedometer itself

chcek all these components

You have a bad connection to the speedometer sensor take it back ask
your mechanic to check all the connections before you pay some else to fix it.

My speedometer went out on my 95 chevy caprice classic where do I buy a new one and how much do they cost


It may be the speed sensor in the transmission,I do not think it has a speedometer cable,but check the sensor first,then if you need a speedometer,,the dealer,or the junkyard.

I need the firing order and diagram of 1991 305. i changed cap but forgot to mark my wire location on the cap

Here ya go! #1 on the cap is the solid white dot...and then it goes clock-wise, 2, then 3 and so on.
