Question about 2004 Ford Taurus

Which fuse in my 04 ford taurus is the radio one??? i've read my manual buy cant find anything that relates to the radio.

The radio usually run off the accessories fuse as does the interior light,but sometimes there is a line fuse to the radio as well, you might have to take the radio out to to see if there is one there.....hope this helps....cheers

    Yes. It does relate to the interior ligth that much is true but I discoved the power line had came lose pull out the radio and check all the wires. you may also whant to check hthe accessories relay.

Radio is not working


In the battery junction box, check 5A fuse 27 and 20A fuse 17.

In the smart junction box, check15A fuse 21, 10A fuse 32, 15A fuse 33, and 15A fuse 22.

most likely the boxes are relays. have had the battery/ charging system checked lately. a weak or dead cell will cause the problems you are having.

Cant find fuse for my radio in 05 Taurus


There are several fuses to check. 2 fuses to rear control unit are in the battery junction box(underhood fuse panel) are no. 27(5amp),no. 17(20 amp). In the interior fuse panel 3 fuses to the intergrated control unit are fuse no. 32(10amp),no. 33(15amp), and no. 22 (15amp).

Fuse for the radio on a 2001 Ford Taurus


do you have a owners manual? this will show the location and the purpose of each fuse and relay. the radio fuse should be red in color and be located in the fuse panel on the drivers side it is a 15 amp and is red in color... hope this helps you...please rate this thanks
