Use a siphon or bulb pump to remove gas from the gas tank. Don't unhook anything to do this because it may not go back together in a way that the system will reseal.

How to drain a fuel from tank as i dont see any valve under the tank of cavalier chevy 1997 model

you can unhook the fuel line, from the fuel rail(Under the hood), place hose into gas container, unhook starter solenoid(So the car doesn't crank). and hold the key in the "start" position, untill the container is full!

NOT going to recommend it, OR suggest it... it can be VERY dangerous, having raw fuel/fumes sprayed over the engine!

What is the best way to drain my fuel tank on a 1967 karmann ghia see i can replace the fuel tank tube filter

I drained mine by unbolting the entire tank (only 4 bolts on top) taking it out and inverting it for drainage.
BUT, here are two shortcuts that I realized later:
a ) You can get get under the front hood beneath the car (not easy to reach) and unhook the main fuel line from tank to engine.
b) The easiest way is just unhook the fuel supply line from tank to the carb and drain it slowly and best if parked at inclined level for better drainage down the hill. Collect Fuel in a fuel container.

My fuel pump is bad! how do i replace this? this

unhook battery, remove all gas, jack rear of car up and always use safety stands, unhook straps that hold the tank in place,be careful with fuel lines, fuel pump is on the top of tank, there is a locking ring on the pump, remove it and replace.

How do I bleed the fuel lines to the engine?

You should not need to bleed the fuel lines to the engine, unless you got something in the gas that has contaminated it. In that case I would drop the fuel tank, unhook the fuel lines in the engine bay and blow them out with an air hose. Air in the lines will not hurt a thing, just put the gas in it and crank it up, it may stall a few times, just restart it and the air will purge itself. Depending on what is in the fuel, diesel for instance, will burn out just drain the tank and top it up with good gas, after running out that tank of fuel change the fuel filter.

Gas in my dieal truck f 250 I put the wrong gas hose at the service station I an running on my second tank with the correct diesel

with out having a drain plug on the tank, some may tell you to unhook the fuel line from that tank and let the fuel pump, pump it out,But that means you would have to sit there and keep cranking it over to keep the pump powered, that would just cause the starter to over heat,I'm sorry to tell you this,But I think you already knew the right answer,You need to drop that tank and get every last drop of the gas out.

The tank was filled with diesel

you'll need to remove the tank and drain it and clean it. replace the fuel filter and unhook the fuel line from the injector... turn the key on and let the fuel pump run till all you are getting out of the hose is gas.

Change fuel pump on 1994 buick park avenue

Drain all gas as much as possible for weight reasons, Unhook fuel lines, unhook electrical connections, and ground connections, filler tube, and straps, then tank will drop out. Remove retaining ring on sending unit remove unit from tank taking note how it comes out because its got to go back in the same way it came out, chg. pump on sending unit there is one electrical plug, reinstall unit in tank with retaining ring, assemble in reverse order.
