I have no brake lights on a 2000 Bonneville SE

Hello David Mertens,

Check the lights themselves... as embarrassing as it is... they actually do have a CERTAIN (like ***** & taxes) life expectancy.

.Make sure the rear contacts are clean...

Impala brake lights

When you say "nothing" do you mean you found no problems, or no power ?
Are you getting power in and out of the brake light switch when it is engaged ?

Brake lights out, third light works, tail lights work, reverse lights work, fuses good, bulbs good

Pretty much only leaves the brake light switch mounted usually behind or above the brake lever, when you push the pedal down it releases a switch that activates the brake light circuit, check that the switch is still working or you can pull the plug off the switch and short out the two pins ( a paper clip or such is a quick short link ) check if this brings on the brake lights. Good luck

No brake lights fuses are good and changed brake switch still no brake lights

Sounds like the next step is to check or replace the brake stop light switch on the brake pedal.

My 2004 Chevy Impala Brake lights don't work. I checked the bulbs and fuse. All is ok. I replaced the brake light switch with a new one. Still nothing. Is there a relay somewhere that I am missing?

You have 2 brake lite switches . Did you replace the one for the brake lite or the one for the single lite. Check again please...when you replaced the brake lite switch .. did you check and see if the bakes lights were on and if they were on. If they were the problem is in the adjusting of the switch. If not check for the relay..Good Luck!!!

No tail lights, head lights, brake lights and turn signals still work. Changed light switch and checked all fuses, no problem foud.

Have you checked the filament in each tail light bulb? they could both be burnt. Also you may have a broken wire, check power wire in trunk area & see if power is available at the tail light socket, if no power is there you may have a broken wire or a bad groundi.e., the black wire. Good luck!

2000 Impala, the Dash lights have stopped working, there was a buzzing before the lights went out.

you may try checking the fuse panel first its always good to start with the cheapest fixes first then use an elimination process if that doesnt fix it. but most likely it is just a fuse

2003 Impala Brake lights dont work

The brake lights are routed through the signal light switch.
Looks like that will be the next switch to replace and the problem.
