Got 2000 dodge neon will start when cold run good but when motor warms up won't start

Nikki is the engine light on, are there any codes, have you had a tune up or any other work done lately.when you say it won't start when warm(do you mean engine will not turn over, or does engine turn and refuses to fire.
If I had to guess failing fuel pump, they tend not to build fuel pressure when ran a while(warmed up) and when left to cool build somewhat better pressure.

Speedometer stopped working pulled all fuses mileage lights back on gas guage now worksspeedometer spun all the way aroundchecked fusest didnt spin back aroundstuck under the little plastic nub by 0

Google year & make of car for fuse panel fuse diagram. Do the fuse trick you did. If you notice any corrosion or caked gunk on fuse legs...replace fuse....If problem persists it's probably the VSS Vehicle Speed Sensor which gives the vehicle speed to the speedometer.

My brake light and signal light stopped working on my 1998 dodge neon on drivers side back can you help?

Does any lights on the right side work? It sounds like the ground connection to the assembly is loose.

My 2000 dodge neon at red lights or stops will start to sputter or **** like its going to stop i've just about put everthing new on it new head gasket, spark plugs, plug wires, distributer, battery and it...

Scott, this might sound strange but check the wiring harness just in front of the AC compressor, sometimes, this wiring harness will come loose from it's tie down and start rubbing on the AC compressor pulley causing all kinks of electrical glitches intermittently. Remember, your Service Engine Soon light is for Emissions only, it will stay on only if your car is polluting. Good luck, Gary

Speedometer quit but sometimes works. 98 neon

Check the ground wire from the engine to the firewall. It is a flat braided uncoated wire and should be easy to distinguish. Make sure that it is clean and tight.

Speedometer on 95 plymouth neon doesn't always work.

I have the answer!
There are two clips that the cluster connects to. Those two clips have become worn. There are two ways to resolve this. 1. replace the clips. 2. (what I did) took a sparkplug box and cut it in 4 strips long wise and folded them in half. I then inserted those strips between the dash and the clip. This pushes clip forward and creates a stable connection.

Speedometer/tach stopped working

There are 2 sensors on the engine that sent a signal to the computor and speedometer and tach. When one of these goes bad it can make the speedometer and tach go all over the place and also just stop working. This can also cause all types of engine running problems because the information being sent to the PCM will be incorrect all so. The units are easy to replace once you find them, it seems that they are located in different areas of the engine with each year the vehicle was put out.

2004 dodge neon speedometer stopped working

Try giving it a good rap on dash above speedo, see what happens, and get back to me, it may have same problem as my old 95' neon did.

Speedometer works sometimes on 95 neon

Common on those is the dash cluster connection itself, there is a plug on the back of it, that you pull off & i ended up using tweezers or needle nose pliers and just very slightly twisted or bent ends of the male spade (small) contacts on the cluster itself, one by one. re-attached everything & problem cured. If you just pull trim around the cluster, it will come off, then 3 or 4 screws and cluster will lift out of there, unplug harness, do as described & re-install. Let me know how you make out. Did it 2 or 3 times in my 95 neon & it cured it for a few years each time.
