Do you see a security light lit on the instrument cluster ? Is it a automatic transmission ? If so try moving gear selector to netural . Transmission range selector switch problem . Everything lights up but wont crank the engine ovet

The way to start is to ck your battery for 12V & clean bat terminals. Ck the ignition fuse &locate & ck the starter relay for power & ground. Jump the relay between the 2 conn (pwr/grd) See if you start.. Key on If OK r/r relay, If it doesn't work, follow the RED wire to the starter & ck for 12V there. Also ck for a good ground conn at the starter (both with good readings & clean conn. If all is well there when someone else is turning the ignition key to start, then the starter is NG If readings at the starter NG, relocate the starter relay. Good luck, Frank M

2006 malibu will not crank, starter just clicks...new starter and bat is good

At the starter motor, two voltage circuits, one comes from the battery, hot all the time. The other should go hot with key in the crank position and is wired through the starter relay. Is the starter relay removable? If so jump the load side of relay with jumper wire, the starter motor may crank? If you try that, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set.
There is a run/crank relay that is also involved, plus the neutral switch.
If you have two good voltage circuits at the starter motor and the ground is good, the starter motor grounds through the engine block, then I'd have to check starter motor itself.
If one of those relays is not energized there won't be much if any voltage drop. Below is part of your starter circuit. Hope you can read it?

No Turning of the engine: Starter tested~Good, Battery Tested~Good, Changed the Park/Neutral Switch, but still no response. When I turn the key, I get all the lights and sounds, but the motor will not even...

Change the actual ignition switch? Test light at starter signal wire while someone turns key to see if you have power at signal wire. Check all your grounds after that. Still nothing take steering column apart and change ignition switch .

94 explorer no crank but starts when bridged at relay. changed bat. starter, relay, ignition coil/ switch/ and ignition, terminals, ground cable, fuse, black relayZ?????

Check for power on the red with light blue wire at the ignition switch with the key in the crank position. If there is no power make sure there is power on the yellow wire at the ignition switch. Also check to make sure the key is making the full turn to the crank position. If there is power than check for power on the Pink wire at the neutral safety switch on the side of the automatic transmission. If there is not power I need to know if you have the anti-theft system or not. If there is power than check for power out of the neutral safety switch on the red with light blue wire. If there is power on that wire pull the starter relay and check to see if two pins are grounded all the time. One of the other two pins that are not grounded should have power all the time. The other pin should have power when the key is in the crank position. That should get you started. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. F 150 starts and starter stays engaged unplug alternator starts ok but no charge

2 problems, first you have bad starter or starter relay for starter staying engaged, keep alt plugged in has nothing to do with starter staying engauged, to test starter relay, jump at relay bat + post with red/bk wire on solonoid, if cranks over without staying engaged, then not relay or starter but rather in your ign switch, ford had bad problems with ign switch some years ago doing that

Replace the Relay going from the starter that is bolted on the frame above the cooling fan. When the security system is enabled it cuts the power going to the fuel pump and disables it.
