Upon starting this is normal in most cases, If there is water or steam from the tailpipe after you have been driving around awhile and the engine is at operating temperature….then you might have a problem, but from what you said I don’t think you have a problem. this is caused by condensation in exhaust pipe. especially after a warm day.

With smoke coming out of tailpipe p301

White smoke coming out of the exhaust on any gas powered vehicle is a sign that you have a blown head gasket allowing water from the cooling system to enter the cylinder, and when the piston comes up for combustion stroke and fires it turns the water to steam. This is also bad for allowing coolant to get in your oil, which anti-freeze in your oil will ruin the journals (Bearings) on the crankshaft (Major Engine Repair) costing several thousand dollars *NEW* !

Steam is coming out the tailpipe of my 2003 Dodge Stratus RT what does that mean?

Unless you're seeing or smelling antifreeze in the moisture, it's probably just a product of local humidity. Without any other indicators of trouble I wouldn't worry about it.

White smoke coming from tailpipe? Slight knocking noise. 99 Camry.

White smoke or steam? Smoke is oil buring and steam is coolant steaming. If this is steam, you have a blown head gasket...if oil, it could be either a oil ring problem or a valve seal problem.

Steam coming from the tailpipe of my car after replacing radiator

Question? Does the coolant get low as you drive? If so you may have a head gasket problem, stop driving it. Check the oil to see if it's milky, if not replace the head gasket, if the oil is milky, replace the engine.

Steam coming from the tailpipe of my car after replacing radiator

are you loosing coolant? if you have some coolant going somewhere but no leaks that you can find pull the dipstick and take a look at your oil. if the oil on the dipstick looks white and creamy, you have a blown head gasket. that is how water is getting into parts of the engine where it doesn't belong and so into exhaust. if that is what is happening you should fix it right away, pretty bad for the engine. hope that helps
