The best oil to use depends on whether your engine is using oil or not,if its not, then 5/40 fully synthetic.(expensive) if it is then 10/40 semi synthetic.(reasonable)when using a pint to 500 miles then use 20/50(cheap).

Its an old car. This means the transmission is old as well. Make sure you dont have a oil leak and that your checking your fluids regularly. If u dont take care of a car that old things like this will get worse

change timing chain when noisy and belt around 100.000klm. To do a proper job consider changing cam and crank oil seals. hydraulic belt tensioner and all idler pulleys as oil is the biggest killer of timing belts and idlers work just as hard as the belt

oil and cooling fans are a next step, oil leaking from bad gaskets or burning up and seized cooling fan may cause that problem had it in my old subaru before then engine blew :D

Yes it would. 2W20 is fine when then engine is new. Upon piling up the miles on the engine a heavier grade of oild is needed. the same for hotter climates evn if the engine is new

Where can i find a diagram that shows the starter location

The starter is below lower side of the engine, either at the r/h lower side or l/h lower side were the transmission mounts to the engine.

Engine oil

Hello ,

Thank you folks, but my problem is already fix it - I'll change the engine oil like in

the A program from my Chrysler owner manual .

This does it mean at max. 6 months or max 7500 miles ...


PS : Probably the Chrysler LLC it must be more carefully with his international dealers training's ..
