Question about Oldsmobile Aurora
OK, out of all of these parts on an Oldsmobile Aurora dealing with driveability issues, I would start with the EGR system, both vacuum and electrical aspects of the system.
Also, if there are ANY codes in the computer it would be good to know what they are.
If you want to diagnose it yourself, go to Walmart and purchase a CanOBDII scanner that has english explanations of the codes on your OBD-II compliant car. It costs only $98 plus tax in my area.
Just put batteries in it (2 AA) and hook the cable up to the car on one end and the scanner on the other, and it will tell you a lot about what's going on in your engine.
Hope this helps.
