Very simple solution, I have 2000 model grand voyager and it has a problem with immobilizer, what i did is, I was converted to carburator and disconnected the injector connector, i reduced the fuel pump pressure so that it will not overflow, i made a TPS base so that the transmissinon will shift in a normal pattern, I made a rounded hole on the hood because the carburator will hit the hood, now I can drive my Van normally and it is first time in KSA to modify the system, If you want to see, search my name in facebook and look at my photo, theng utto daguit and you can see it. thank's i'm filipino.

Does it play a cd? If so than the decoder for the dvd portion of the head unit may be bad. I would replace it if that's the case.

Gear box oil

my granddad has a voyager LX CRD, he has problems with getting the car into gear, as he says if you are lazy (cutting corners on the gearbox) it won't go into gear. we checked the gearbox oil and it was low and also it seemed that it was transmission fluid (for an automatic car) ALTHOUGH my granddads car was a manual. this is the one thing that chrysler don't come first for - Manual Cars
hope i helped you

I have 2005 Chrysler Voyager - battery flattens overnight, and will not start. I am doing short journeys which I guess does not help. Nearly new battery, charging system good, and nothing apparently using...

The battery will not discharge unless there is a drain. When the car is shut down disconnect the negative battery terminal. Put a DC ammeter between (in series) the battery negative terminal and the disconnected cable. The drain due to electric clock and immobiliser circuit will be in the order of 30mA (0.03 Amps). Remove each fuse in turn and note any drops in the current drawn. At some point you will encounter a fuse which when removed drops the current drain, it is this particular circuit that is primarily the cause of the battery discharging and it will need closer inspection to detect the fault within it. If you can leave this fuse out to prevent battery discharge.

Can you tell me the sequence to switch off my 53 plate Voyager LX, engine light??

Disconnecting the negative battery cable for 10 minutes will reset it, but if there is a problem, it will go back on after a designated # of restarts and driving for a while. To turn it off for good, you need to check for codes stored on the vans computer, and correct any problems that are indicated. If you want to turn off the light for emission testing, note that doing that activates a code that the battery was disconnected, and it may be reason to fail the test, or have to return later to be retested.

MY VOYAGER IMMOBILISER SEEMS TO HAVE KICKED IN CANT GET IT STARTED IS THERE AN ELECTRICAL RESET SWITCH ON THE VEHICLE? TRIED THE SECOND KEY FOB BUT NO JOY DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS?

Its likely to be the 21 pin plug behind the heater control panel. Remove the long plastic strip under the control panel (prise of gently, held on by 2 clips) remove 2 screws behind this and 2 screws above on panel. The whole lot should easily come away. There will be 3 plugs, remove all three and try to start the car. If it starts your problem would be the earth. Hope it helps.
