I put new fuel pump and new inline filter in 2001 Taurus, bleed fuel rail but still isn't getting enough gas.fires up for 1 second then dies.check rail very little gas trickles out

You should have about 40-50 psi on fuel rail. Is there a clogged fuel filter in the line? In line filter installed properly?
Is the fuel pump any good?

Can,t locate the inline fuel filter on a1999 plymouth breeze. its suppose to be on the side of the gas tank (passenger side) but no go not there. the reason I'm looking... car ran out of gas and after...

They filter is suppose to be inline from the tank towards the engine so it could of been installed anywhere along that line fi it was repaired or replaced by someone else. Also a filter sock is placed at the pumps suction feed inside the tank. That can be plugged up as well

2005 V6 Silverado ....Engine starts for a litte bit then when u drive it it dies. It doesn't restart until after a while and same cycle. After the start dies, it cranks but doesn;t turn is this a fuel...

these are notorious for fuel pump failures which is an electronic in-tank will run for a few seconds when you turn on the key but do not start the engine so you can hear it run in a very quiet place...listen for it and if its all quiet ,that thing is potentially not running ...good luck

Fuel filter

It depends on which motor you have, 1.5L,1.8L, 2.4L and 1.6(VIN code 5) it is inline on chasis or firewall. Guessing you already looked there, I'm assuming you have a 2.0L,2.7L or a 1.6(VIN code 3), making it tougher to find because on these particular models the only filter is in the fuel tank with the sending unit, or fuel sender as some call it. Hope this helps.
