Question about Chrysler Fifth Avenue

I need to know how to permanently disconnect my alarm on my 1992 Chrysler Fifth Avenue. We replaced the drivers door, and now we can get the car to start because I set off the alarm by mistake.

Its possible that you need to take off or disconnected the battery few minutes to reset it; check this link about wiring diagram about 1990-1993 Chrysler Fifth Avenue

    We tried that already. It didn't work. No it's not an aftermarket. It's the one from factory.

    Im assuming that even the system is armed, to disarm check the next procedure: lock and then unlock the drives door to turn the system off. In case
    that doesn't work, you should always use the drivers door to unlock the
    car before opening any other doors. You could also take the vehicle to
    a professional repair station and have the alarm components removed, as
    doing so incorrectly could lead to sever problems.

    I unlocked the driver door in the first place, but as I saifd , we replaced that door. Also if you look at the chart you sent, it's all listed as N/A for the stuff I need to know about.

Where is the fuel cutoff switch on a 92 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue


Hi Big bang, Is your vehicle a diesel? If it's petrol injection the fuel cut off is not a separate switch. When you turn off the engine you also turn off the power to the injectors and therefore cut the fuel feed. If the engine is dieseling after turning off, I believe you have a problem with a leaking injector. This will also become evident when starting as the engine will take longer to fire, as it will have lost fuel rail pressure. Regards John

I have a 1987 Chrysler fifth Avenue with 318 engine i just need a drawing of the firing order for the spark plug wires


The firing order on a 318 is 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2, the drivers side bank is 1 3 5 7 front to rear and the passenger side bank is 2 4 6 8 front to rear.

1-Lock the doors from inside using the power button (as normally you lock your doors when leaving your car)<br /> 2-Now open your doors from outside using the key<br /> This should solve the problem

I need a passenger side front fender for a 1984 Chrysler Fifth Avenue. I can find one on a 1985 model. Will it match?


The rear drive 5th avenues where mostly unchanged during their lifespan. It should bolt up the same.

All you need to know for that car with full pics, drawings, solutions, etc.
I always use them if available.

You have to remove all attachements inside first carefully and the remove the inside cover with a protected screwdriver normaly proning.

91 through 93 with a 3.3 engine had a problem of sometimes the pcm would decide it had a theft alarm on it even when it didnt...it keeps looking for the signal its ok to start...only fix is to replace pcm. a dealer can tell if this is the problem by gong into the diagnostics and seeing if the fuel is shut of due to vtss
