Are you looking for a particular fuse? The fuse box lid should have a diagram on it showing what each fuse is for using small icons. These icons are usually the same for any vehicle and any manufacturer.
Hi Barbara,I got a 85 nissan 720 4x4 2.4,it's the silver icon I use,here's a link to the fuse box,if you need better pictures,let me know,also here's a video of mine.Join 720world.com,look at my pictures.
I suggest check the description and right location abour each fuse and fuse panel box location in your owners manual or ask and try to download from Ford Owners Manual ...
can you hear the compressor kicking on when you turn it on? If yes, the system may just need a recharge. Also they can iject dye into the system at the same time of charging to see if it has a leak.
the only thing I can think of which will take out all
of those instruments (and nothing else) is fuse 6 in the centre fuse
box. Ordinarily, you would expect therefore to see a fuse fail icon
on the dash (the 'lightning flash') but I guess with that fuse #6 out
you get none of the warning icons on the display either?
Check
the fuse electrically as well as visually and also the condition of
the fuse holder in the centre box. It has been known for a bad solder
joint at the back of the fuse holder to cause such problems when the
fuse itself checks out OK. With the ignition switched 'ON' you
should get battery voltage from that fuse position.
You going to need one again during the trucks life time so i suggest you go to the nearest Ford dealership and pick up an owners manual, fuse decription and location is shown in it.
If you find the fuse box then open it and on the inside of the lid should be a map indicating the position of the fuses. There will be little icons what you can easily locate. In some models internal lights are also on the same fuse as the lighter.
