Question about 1995 Pontiac Grand Am
Changed brakes all around, plus the passenger rear brake cylinder; now the abs brake light will not go away. it's off until I go forward and comes on at about 6 mph.
What you need to do is get the codes from the Electronic Brake Control Module,(ebcm). This will tell you what wheel is making the light go on.Could be a sensor or wiring to the sensor or the EBCM.Generally the brake pads or shoes themselves will not cause the anti lock brake light to come on.If you post back with the codes I can help you out with diagnosing the problem.Hope this helps.Good luck.
