What cause my 1995 buick regal to jerk at 55 just before passing gear,i do have a leak in front tranmission line would that be it

Stop any oil leaks as the transmission requires exacting oil pressure to do the job. Any leaks reduces the pressure so gear changing is affected. Besides when do you know if the oil level has dropped below operating level and will be insufficient for the gear box.

When i turn on my 1983 buick regal it starts smoking from behind the motor some where and i cannot figure it out. what could it be?

Oil. if the smoke is coming from between the engine block and the firewall then its probably oil on the exhaust manifold. Make sure that your engine is not leaking oil from the seals and make sure the oil cap and dipstick are in place, start your car, with the hood up and observe the smoke if its bad then id take it to a mechanic but if its only mild then providing your engine isn't leaking oil it should burn off within a few minutes of the engine being started, i say watch the smoke because if it is leaking oil onto the exhaust in great amounts then it is possible it could catch fire.

What are repair cost for oil leak on 95 buick regal?

It depends on what seal/seals or gaskets are being replaced. No one seal or gasket should be much over $50 and a good repair shop should cost anywhere from 55-85 dollars an hour for labor.

Considering buying 95 buick regal for 700.00 may have oil leak what will repairs cost me?,

That's a loaded question... Depends on where it's leaking. Lowest $$ cost $100 parts & labor & UP. Have a competent shop look at it before you buy it.

My 1994 buick regal custom has a leak that we are not able to find. We have checked the oil filter, and the valves. Where else is most likely to be leaking?

assuming it is a 3.8 then look above the oil filter on the pump housing and around the front seal and timing cover you might also look at where the engine and transmission come together on bottom to see if the rear seal is leaking.
as a mechanic i would look for the wet clean spot .but it would help to know what side and what type of fluid is leaking.
hope this helps

I have a 1998 Buick Regal supercharger that is leaking antifreeze under the engine. What are the possible causes and repairs?

I would start by checking the water pump. Look at the bottom of it and see if coolant is running down the front of the engine from the hole in the bottom of it. If that appears to be okay look at the sides of your engine. There are 3 frost plugs on each side about halfway between the oil pan and the heads. They will occasionally rust out and leak too. I assume that you have already checked the obvious rad hoses and radiator for leaks. Hope this helps.
