Question about Volkswagen Jetta
The best thing to do is borrow the on board diagnostics scan tool OBD II (for free at your local auto parts store) and then hook it up underneath the drivers side steering wheel. This electronic tool will obtain the trouble codes stored inside your VW Jetta's computer. Write the codes down and then look in the back of a Haynes repair manual (also at auto parts store) and match the codes up to the codes found in that repair book. This will save you time and money and pinpoint the exact componant that has failed on your car
