How can I turn off the rear parking lights

Normally all parking lights are controlled by the light switch. First turn turn on the parking lights and second turn turns on the head lights.

Are you sure it is not your break lights staying on? if this is your break lights - look at break pedal for break light switch staying on or not adjusted correctly. Does your car battery gets drained from your break lights staying on?

Handbrake light staying

You have not mentioned what year, make, or model car you have, but here are some ideas for you.
1) Many cars have two or three different things that will turn on the light, not just one. First, check to be sure the parking brake lever or pedal is fully released. If it is down even one notch, becasue of an interference, it can stay on.
2) Then check to see if your brake master cylinder reservoir is full of brake fluid. If it is not, you could fill it, but remember, if it is low, you have either a leak or worn out brakes, so you might want to see about that.
3) If you have ABS, you can have a brake malfunction which can turn on the light. Later models have their own light for ABS malfunction.
4) FInally, The switch that turns on the light could be loose or broken, causing the light to come on.
Be blessed.

Interior lighting stays on

First check your dimmer switch to make sure that you do not have it turned all the way up where it clicks. This is how you turn on your interiors lights in many cars.Second,Make sure there is nothing jamming your doors open, even slightly, and making your interior lights stay on.Third,if none of these are the culprit, check your doors switch inside the jamb where your door swivels out.It may be broken or not operating properly.Check the wiring that is insid the jamb. Many times when and if there is a rubber cover between the jamb and the door, the wiring can break and cause a short.Which in turn grounds out and may cause your lights to stay on or not at all.Hope this helps some;)

Brake lights will not turn off on my 94 Nissan Altima

Your problem should be that the rubber stops that are mounted at the top of your break pedal came out or are worn down too much to press the buttons all the way in.
What they do is push the button that switches off your break lights when the break pedal is released (yes, kind of backwards way to design it, i know). That's why your lights stay on even when your car is off. I had to go to the junkyard to find replacements for mine and they are a ***** to replace.
They are chipped away easily by the break switches when your car shakes badly over a prolonged period of time. Like driving a couple of weeks on a bad front tire.

Air bag light on golf 1.4 petrolwant go ou t

When the airbag light is on it means a fault has occurred in the system and the airbag diagnostic monitor has disabled the system, the most common problem that turns the light on is a break in the connection to the steering wheel mounted airbag, this is due to a rotating ribbon contact that breaks under the steering wheel that connects the airbag to the wiring harness and the diagnostic monitor, the part is called th clock spring contact, a coiled up ribbon electrical contact that turns with the wheel

Breaklights

1st get autozone to clear the code, (free) The only thing I can think of that goes out when car is off and on when lights turn on is the parking lights on the side, the wires could be touching in the conduit, start car and pull brake fuse out, if the lights stay on you have a short, if only the park lights stay on (double filiment) look at the lighting system, but if the brake and driving light stay on, sounds like an ecu problem.
