1. check fuses
2. check low refrigerant
3. check wire going to clutch
4. with volt meter or test light check clutch wires / bypass clutch turn A/C on; turn ignition on; does the light - light?
5. with ohm meter check cluch wiring - cluch may have burned out
I take it you have tried a new belt. The Air-conditioner belt driven clutch and bearing repair will cost you nearly as much as a re-conditoned unit. The time, effort and agony is just not worth the trouble of going through any clutch / bearing replacement attempt. (been there done that! And had the right tools!) Ended up replacing the compressor anyway as the internal rollers of the Compressor were the actual problem.
It might be your cluch on your commpressor pulley, start your engine,turn your ac on and check to see if the center of your pulley (cluch) is turning if is not, that your problem. I hope this helped.
