Coil intention chip?do you mean power transistor?that is what i would change if no spark you would need a diode tester on a digital volt meter to test that item.other then that i would change the cam sensor in the distributor. with out seeing it that is all i can tell from my experience.

95 jag 4.0 no spark, but power to both coil wires , plugs are good

check the distributor cap and rotor button for shorts /cracks and cleanliness. If you have changed the HT leads then check the firing order . Check the HT lead from the coil to the distributor cap.

No fire for 2004 nissan titan,replaced crank position sensor,throttle body(TPS sensor),spark plugs,fuel pump.

How about the high voltage coil, the high voltage wires to the distributor cap, the cap itself and the rotor inside. Any one of these could be the problem.

Not getting any spark out of my plug wires already replaced coil, main relay, and ignition module. could it bemy rotar or distrbut

The Honda system uses a coil that mounts inside the dist, right ?
If you can check voltage output at the coil tower with the cap off you can find out if the coil is firing. If it is, then yes the rotor could be the problem. The voltage has to go thru the cap to the center of the rotor then to each plug terminal. The spark can jump thru the rotor and ground thru the dist shaft.

1987 nissan 4x4 pickup with 3.0L V6. just replaced the ignition coil and rotor. Distributor cap looked ok. started ok, but after warm and driving for 2 minutes it stalled and wouldn't...

Sounds like you changed the part that failed but did'nt change the part the caused the part to fail. the spark plgs wear out and need more power to fire as they wear out as do the old plug wires 87 is a long time ago and some are still running with the orginal parts (their that good) change all the parts at once ( plugs , wires , cap and rotor aand now again another coil) and you'll be back to going. remanber that low voltage will kill everythig and some starters will crank when the voltage is too low for anything else. fuel pump and the spark need good voltage to run and the starter may still turn the motor at very low voltages. check the battery and the charging system. You may try to just jumper to another car ( so the voltage is known good) and if it runs OK you are finding and testing battery and charging system parts.

I changed the plugs and wires and distributed cap and rotor button it starts up good.but will not thortle up

Not calling you dumb but I have been a mechanic for over 25 years and have messed up the firing order even though I "thought" I did it one wire at a time. I would double check my firing order for starters if I was you. It may be that simple and I hope it is for your sake and good luck.

Working on a 97 nissan pathfinder would start but very rough idle and would not rev up. changed plugs cap and rotor now wont start at all? any help would be great

most likely coil insulation has failed.most commonly occurs in tower area.remove cap, crank engine and watch where spark arcs to .if it comes out anywhere but the outlet portion of the tower or you dont see any at all...the coil has a failure.bad news is you have toget the whole distributor assy.coil not serviced separately.
