Ok on a 2.4l on the black/green and white wires use ohm meter and there is no specific spec for that engine just make sure the the resistance changes and there is no dead spots. for the 3.0l black and white wires specs are 1.0-9.0k ohms im guessing the specs are the same either engine. close to full open

When starting my 95 toyota pasao it is revving really high is the throttle stuck

Could be a number of things. Yes, check throttle opening, possibly the Throttle cable is damaged due to salt corrosion and holding it open. Or possibly lack of corrosion. Could also be bad Throttle position sensor or it's equivalent or corrosion on its connectors. If you can get it under control have the Ecu codes read by local auto parts store.

Stalling in idle...running rough....stalling when stopping

Undo your battery overnight so the computer will reset and see if that helps.if it does not you will probably have to take it to an auto parts store and see if they can reset it

Error code p2138

Here is the definition. You may need to have someone check the accelerator pedal position sensor and the circuit.

P2138 NISSAN Description The Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) sensor is installed on the upper end of the accelerator pedal assembly. The sensor detects the accelerator position and sends a signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).
Accelerator pedal position sensor has two sensors. These sensors are a kind of potentiometers which transform the accelerator pedal position into output voltage, and emit the voltage signal to the ECM.
In addition, these sensors detect the opening and closing speed of the accelerator pedal and feed the voltage signals to the ECM. The ECM judges the current opening angle of the accelerator pedal from these signals and controls the throttle control motor based on these signals.
Idle position of the accelerator pedal is determined by the ECM receiving the signal from the accelerator pedal position sensor. The ECM uses this signal for the engine operation
such as fuel cut.

1994 v6 Nissan pickup dies at stop lights. won't idle.

Hello, first is it carburetor or fuel injected engine? When was the last time it was tuned up?
If carbureted engine then the carburetor will need to be rebuilt or replaced with a rebuilt carb.

If fuel injected engine. low fuel pressure, faulty fuel injectors, new air cleaner, throttle position sensor might need to be replaced, air flow sensor could be faulty, broken vacuum hoses, plug fuel filter, faulty fuel pump, new spark plugs, etc. All of these things need to be checked out.

You are probably not getting very good fuel mileage. Couple of things will be needed. rebuild carburetor, new filters, and a tune up. GB...stewbison

I'm getting 3 codes on my ECU 21-33-51 . I have replaced my ECU , replaced all injectors and oxygen heat sensor. The new ECU is showing the same codes.

Hi Kevin, The fault codes are in relation to faults that are recorded with the management system of the vehicle, and need not be the actual faults recorded. For example, the fault read out may display 'rich mixture.' That however does not mean that the injectors are leaking, but instead, the oxygen sensor may be giving and incorrect reading and is allowing too much fuel to be injected. Have a diagnosis carried out and then the diagnostic report must be interpreted by some one who knows what they are reading!Regards Johngee10

1995 toyota pickup, surging at around 2000 rpms

Is the check engine light on?

A major cause of surging is either air leaks between the air flow meter and the engine intake manifold, or a bad or mis-adjusted throttle position sensor.

I have an 1987 nissan hardbody with a throttle body. it starts fine but floods out after running a few minutes. could this be the trottle position sensor or the fuel pressure regulator?

Have the Mass Airflow Sensor checked (it's the black, plastic box the size of a business card on the driver's side of the throttle body). It is VERY common for them to give false readings to the ECU.
