Ok there is 2 vehicles listed here lol a chevy c2500 and a blazer. i will explain both
the c2500 just got to remove glove box and it is behind there.
the s-10 blazer you got to move the cpu, the coolant tank for more room then youll see the outline trace you have to cut the cover off along the dotted lines. then change motor. now there is 2 options you can do to put cover back on there is clips you can buy made just for this or you can use a bead of silicone to and pretty much glue it back on. but ill tell ya the clips make is so much better and if your not good with cutting the cover it will never look right glued back in and will never hold and fall off.the clips are cheap at any auto parts store.

There is a way to set base timing on a 4.3 liter motor, right. ?

if your computer is mounted under the hood the timing is not adjustable.the computer sets the timing.if it is not under the hood, then you disconnect the timing connector below the heater case on the passenger side.the wire is tan with a black stripe.set base timing to 0.hope this helps.good luck.

I have coolant steam inside my car coming from my heater - 98 chevy blazer

Hello
Your going to need a heater core, this is located in the heater fan box under the dashboard.
Possibly may be found mounted to the firewall under the hood.

Let it cool down before attempting any repairs.Another possibility is a broken hose at the heater core.

Heater fan won't work in 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. Dont know which fuse is for the heater.

GM has a fuse panel on the left side under the dash. The fuses are labled HTR/AC. There is also a set of overload relays under the hood on the driver's side. They are also labled. The owner's manual has a diagram showing both the location and type of fuse to use. Cleaning the sockets with electrical cleaner when you replace the fuses helps them to make better contact.

Need to know location 96 4.3 blazer relay box under hood. i dont know where it is or what it looks like. thankyou kathy.

The only relay box I know of is in your glove compartment. Just went through changing a fuel pump in my 96 and finally located it in there. Dealer told me it was under the hood. Little black cover pops off and there are 3 relay's inside.

Heater wont work a fuse maybe? some how I doubt it. the rear window heater works. fan dead perhaps? no fan at all. not sure about heat.

Hi: Sounds like a possible heater resistor problem. First check to see if heater fan working, unplug heater under hood and put 12 volts to it from the battery with a wire (single black wire running to back of fan). If works then problem probably the resistor which is located on the fan housing under the hood to the right of the fan. The resistor has wires to it running from the heater fan, 2 - 7mm screws holding resistor in place, check resistor to see if any of the 3 elements are melted off, if so replace. Note: Rear window defrost has nothing to do with heater fan. Hope this helps...

Heater Switch

by R/R, do you mean Reset or Replace? and by heater blower switch, do you mean that the lo to hi fan speed switch is not turning the fan on?

If so, I had the same problem in mine. Instead, open the hood, and in the back of the engine compartment, on the passenger side, you will see two or three relays, they are little grey blocks about 1x1x2 inches. On mine, the middle one was burned out when I unplugged it. They cost about 12 bucks at the local auto store.
