On my 93 chevy s10 4x4 blazer, my instrument panel worked before new motor was put in, after having the new engine put in, my fuel gauge, oil pressure, voltmeter, rpm, and my temp gauge all quit worki

Look for a missing ground strap from the engine to the body or frame. Remember the engine sits on rubber mounts so that ground strap is essential.

When my 93 blazer sits while it runs it shakes really bad and it seems like its missing.

check that your plug wires are all seated properly. also use an oil and fuel stabilizer, this usually helps with older vehicles. recommend seafoam for engines

I need the firing order for a 93 chevy blazer distributor.where is number 1?

Firing order for a 4.3 liter v6 1-6-5-4-3-2

#1 piston is the first spark plug drivers side front of engine.
Passenger side cylinders are 2 4 6
Drivers side cylinders are 1 3 5
Distributor rotates clockwise and the starting spot is marked with a 1 on the top of the distributor cap.
Make sure you note the position of the 1 on the old cap before you take it off so you don't rotate the new one 180 out

93 Jimmy Electronic 4 Wheel Drive

If the Blazer is the same Year. I think the years are 1992 to 1994 will work as long as it's the 4L60E, and you have the manuel transfer case to activate the 4WD.
Good luck and keep me posted.

1993 s10 blazer has hesitation

Hi everyone,

I had a very similar problem with my 93 S-10 Blazer. I thought it was just cold blooded. I'd start it and it would idle so rough and spit and sputter and it seemed as though the fuel was dumping right out the tail pipe! I placed the computer on it as my engine light finally came on but all it said was that the exhaust was rich. Well I know that! Thanks computer. So then I heard about a product called "Seafoam." It will clean the engine of carbon build up. There are three ways to use it, let the PCV valve **** it up, add it to the oil, or add it to the fuel tank.
I pulled the PCV valve out of the valve cover, removed the valve from its stem. turned the engine on then I reved the engine a bit from the throttle body while I placed the PCV stem inside the can of seafoam. While the can is being emptied you will see and SMELL a huge white cloud of smokey fog coming from the tailpipe. As soon as the can is empty let go of the throttle. If the engine does not stall on its own shut it off. Let it sit for 4 or 5 hours. Then start the engine.....it may start a bit hard....and PRESTO!!! I was skeptical of this product as there are so many out there that claim to be the best but this one actually works!! My truck now runs and idles like never before. It even increased my gas mileage considerably. I'm going to wait another week then add another can to my full tank of gas so it will do a job on cleaning my injectors. This can of seafoam cost me only $11.00 dollars Canadian. Thanks Seafoam!!

93 blazer runs better when check engine light's on

Could be a temp sensor or similar too, and believe it or not, the price to have the vehicle scanned for codes, and fuel pressure tested if necessary, usually ends up being cheaper in the long run, rather than play hit & miss, and replace a bunch of parts by guessing.

93 chev Blazer

perhaps i missed something here... lowbeams and daytime lights are about the same.... be that as it may... the merely obvious thing is that the low beams are burnt out.... next thing would be that the relay for the day time lights could be defective... it's often mounted on the firewall.
